Very well done

Hummingbird, this is a great digital story. I am impressed at the quality of your final product-- is this the first video you've produced?

Your interviews bring a much needed perspective to the crisis in Syria. Thank you for your brave work.

Merci

I wanted the video to leave an impact and stir attention, and maybe a will to do something about it. It is my first video I ever produced, I had many concerns in my head when I traveled and shot the images: what if the video was not good, what if there was so much noise in the background, what if the video didn't leave an impact..etc. But things went really smoothly this time, as if it should be that way.

Thank you Scott for your help with the subtitling.

Hello

Thank you dear. I am not in Amman, just went there for couple of days to talk to the refugees and bring their voices to the world. I didn't know you are in Amman, I would like to meet you. Maybe next time, I am thinking of going there again, but don't know exactly when, I will surely contact you when I do.

Take care dear Noreen..

Powerful and moving

Dear Hummingbird,
Thank you for producing this compelling video and giving those of us in the west an up-close and personal perspective on what we read in the papers. The trust between you and the refugees you interviewed is obvious, and I felt very moved to hear them tell their stories.

Warmly,
Amy Kessel

Hummingbird, you did an

Hummingbird, you did an incredible job on this piece. I'm surprised to learn it's your first time working with video! The quality is stunning and the execution is great. The final result is a powerful, emotive, professionally executed, moving, inspiring, and urgent video. This is what digital storytelling is about: highlighting the personal, the real stories that are behind the headlines, headlines that are often divorced from the realities of the people living in the midst of a current crisis/current event.

I very much feel you accomplished your goal with this piece. I feel connected to the people of Syria. I feel angered and compelled to act. I feel moved and stirred.

Well done.
