Nepal - Women Empowerment Project Advice

My friend and I are organizing a project in Nepal for women's empowerment. We are looking to come either in July or August. I know this will be monsoon season, but it is our only option! There are several women's issues that we have heard about and are interested in learning more about, such as the Badi or Chaupadi women of Nepal. I have also heard about the Living Goddess/Kumari.

If any women in the group would be interested in talking to us when we are in Nepal, sharing your own story as a woman, we would love to hear from you. Also, if you have any information about organizations that work with Nepali women's issues (they do not have to be the specific ones I just mentioned) who might let my friend and I visit them for a few days and interview/see what is going on - any and all comments would be appreciated.

Thank you all,

Monet
