Module 6 (Each One Teach Five ) starts today!
Hello Correspondents,
Today we officially kick-off the sixth and final module of our training program, Each One Teach Five! This module is your chance to share your new skills and knowledge with your community. Here is the direct link to the Module in the classroom: http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/programs/voices-of-our-future-classr...
The Assignment
Your assignment for this section will be to reach out to at least five other women in your community, introduce them to World Pulse and the knowledge you have gained and help them create a PulseWire profile. Beyond bringing them onto PulseWire, you get to choose what you train them on. Will your community benefit most from new media training? Citizen journalism training? Empowerment training? Or all three? Remember to be responsive to the needs of your community.
Please send us your plan on how you will reach out to these women by April 30th. Our team will be periodically checking in to see where you are and if you need any assistance. We would like you to have reached out to at least five other women in your community (they can be women in your online community or in your town/city) by June 30, 2012.
Our Q&A training calls for this Module are scheduled for next week, on Tuesday the 24th and Wednesday the 25th. We will take time to walk through the materials from the classroom, and respond to your ideas and questions. I will send another detailed reminder about these calls later this week.
We hope that you've been making progress on your Digital Storytelling projects, and that you're excited about this next opportunity to increase your impact in your community. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions!
Warm regards,
Scott and Rachael

Suggestion: Get Men Involve and still meet the target-5 women
Hello dear VOF sisters and the team, some young men in my community have shown interest in the training [TeachFive]. These men have been tremendously impacting the community- especially in leading advocacy programs against GBV on women, HIV/AIDs and gender etc. So, I thought, I will get one or two of them involve and would still maintain the target (5 women). Please let me know if this is a great idea.
Thanks
Stay Blessed

Meritocracy,
Excellent!
I think this is great Zi'woh! Men and boys are important allies in ending GBV and building a more equitable society, so I think your efforts to teach them new skills will be very helpful.
Thanks so much for sharing, this is wonderful!
Best,
Scott
