Introducing myself and my journal: wonderwebby

About Me:
My name is Jasmin Tragas and I’m a managing consultant (workforce transformation) and social media advocate at IBM with a background in new media and design.

I live in Melbourne, Australia with my husband and three young children. I also enjoy using social media for social good - promoting the microfinance projects of Opportunity International Australia and focusing on community arts (CCD) through the VCA Centre for Cultural Partnerships (University of Melbourne.)

Mid 2007 I returned to work part-time after parental leave and embraced social networking as a way to connect with a large, global workforce. My special interest in social networking originally began in 2002 through participation and moderation of an online mother’s community, and through my work in the area of eLearning and eFacilitation.

I’ve been blogging at wonderwebby” since July 2007. You can read my full professional profile on and connect with me also on LinkedIn
