PEACE, PEACE, PEACE.....

What else would we wish for in our lives? I am so glad that you are now my friends and we can share so many things which will help our society. Peace is taken for granted until it is Not there. It happened last year in our country during Post election time. I realized how I have been taking this enormous word for granted. Dear we are together as you tell the world to uphold Peace.
Regards,
Consolata

It is the children who suffer most

Yes, Consolata, Peace is a HUGE word. Sadly, so many do not believe it is something we can reach. And so it is the children and women who suffer, who pay the price. We must teach our children that peace is not just a word, that it is a possibility and that we must work for it, teach it and be it every day.
I watched in horror and sadness as your country eprupted in violence after the elections. From this place so far away, my heart was in pieces as the helpless became the target of so much rage. I pray that you and your family survived and I am so grateful that you are able to find a place in your heart to continue to move toward peace.
Tomorrow, here in America, we elect our first President of color. I am so proud of my country at this moment. Barack Obama has renewed my hope that we can become the country that we should be and that we might work closely with the world to bring peace to this planet.
May this day find you well and may PEACE prevail on earth!

God have Mercy

Wao! What a good message to our children? Thank God we survived all the mess of Post Election time but we never know when it can strike again. Women and children suffered most. Even as we speak some are still bearing the aftermath of the selfishness of our leaders. YES, we need to talk to our chidren day in day out to since they are the leaders of tomorrow.
What a great Nation you are? Colour didnt matter. As you celebrate tomorrows inaugurations may you have all you have been wishing for your beloved Country.
I pray that our Nation rise beyond enthnic groups.
Lets keep together and we Pray for Peace to prevail all over the WORLD!

Lets preach Peace to the World.

Peace by pieces...

I love this journal title, and if i interpret it my style i would take piece in small pieces until i have it all!

The human race should know that peace is essential, and nobody should interrupt it in any way.If Human Rights would be respected, then i am sure we would have peace in abundance.

Thank you for your very powerful journal and work.I am looking forward to hearing more from you.

Peace,

Leah Auma Okeyo.
