My dedication
Amazing! we are celebrating 100th women’s day but the sad thing is we women are not still safe in our home, in our community and in our nation and yes not safe worldwide.
I have very fresh memory of celebrating women’s day in past. During school days, in Falgun 25th (B.S.) /March 8th we used to have holiday. Being a student, I just used to rejoice the holiday but did not know the reason behind the holiday. But one thing that always struck in my mind is I used to feel like we girl are very - very special than boys so that holiday was only for we girl and sure this feeling still touches my heart and I feel we woman are special indeed.
On this auspicious occasion, this time I would like to dedicate my feelings, my respects to those who lost their life and who are battling to live due to cultural as well as domestic Violence.
Following are the very painful and striking examples, please for detail click the link:

Thank you for bringing
Thank you for bringing attention to these stories, so that these women have a voice through you. I am reminded of a quote, that goes something like this- "The world is full of suffering, but it is also full of people overcoming it."
IWD is our opportunity to bring awareness to these kinds of stories and to bring ourselves to see the hope. We can choose to see the resilience and the courage of the women today who are standing tall!
Peace,
Carrie

Painfully true

Thank you for highlighting this painful fact. Most women especially in most countries are suffering greatly in silence. Mostly because of social beliefs, religious alignment or economic conditions the greater population of women in the world still die or wallow in injustice and abuse. It seems like these women ` day celebrations at times are for particular groups of women in this global society, most of whom are already enjoying the specialness of being a woman. I pray for the day when women will no longer be looked down upon as objects of entertainment and abuse.
