Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am a new member of the Women Thrive Worldwide team and excited to join World Pulse to advocate for women and girls living in poverty around the world.

I do social media, outreach, and online communications in my role at Women Thrive and have previously worked at a consumer advocacy non-profit, dedicated to achieving quality, affordable health care for every American.

I have a B.A. in journalism from Boston University and am currently pursuing a Masters in Global Affairs George Mason University.

What is Women Thrive? I teach Global Nursing for a state college online. Each quarter the students do a comprehensive study of a health problem in a country other than Europe and North America. I am in the process of contacting women around the world to partner with a student who will work with her and engage her in a project for their mutual benefit. I am part of the Thriving Communities network in Washington State. I would love to know more about your work.
