Though i walk through the valley of the shadow of me
I shall fear not me,myself or I
the inner me sometimes scares me,
I fear what myself thinks, feels or does,
sometimes i want to run away from me,

Me keeps I away from fighting, from living, from flying away like a bird,
I want to live,to breath,to wallow in the serenity of this beautiful world,
the me in me crushes yours truly at times and hinders progress,
i have dreams, wishes, achievements that i need to see through,
the stumbling block in all this is me,
i do not want to be a slave of me anymore,so i break through,
to achieve what i was set out to achieve,me shall no longer challenge me,
i break my fears,my weaknesses,
myself and i shall fight for our dreams and finally live,

sometimes in our lives it is ourselves who keeps us from progressing because we are afraid and the inner voice keeps telling us that we cannot make it,we have to fight

your words are beautiful! I remind myself so often of the very thing of which you speak- that all I have to do is get out of my own way!!
It reminds me of the last two lines in Rumi's "The Well"-
"We cannot know what the divine intelligence has in mind.
Who am I standing in the midst of this thought-traffic?"

Here's to listening to our deep knowing and not our inner critic,

thank you

thanks carrie,so true we always get in our own way which so many times makes us to be limited and think that we cannot do it,i am a victim of myself and i try hard to fight and rise.
