Feedback Needed: Story angle for module 2 assignment

Hi ladies

I hope you had a great Xmas and this new year comes with blessings and success no matter what you want to achieve.

One of the most hot and hardly discussed topic in Argentina nowadays is abortion and the law that allow it in a legal, safe and free way. During all the 2011 women's groups for and against the law to have stirred the waters of public opinion with press statements, meetings and marches, which have often ended in physical confrontation between the women of both sides.

I am a woman living in Argentina and therefore everything that happens in this country affects me. Every law that is approved, it is mandatory for me, whether or not I agree with it. As a women, mother and activist, is my obligation to take a clear position on the issue.

Most women who resort to illegal abortion, they do as a result of unwanted or unexpected pregnancy. Regarding this: What is my position as a mother, a woman who faced the decision on an early pregnancy? What are we talking about when we say abortion? Is a Political, Religious, Philosophical dilemma? These are some questions I want to answer in my assignment.

Great idea~

Fabulous idea Nasreen! You are taking a larger issue in your country and making it personal through your own experience--this is exactly what a Frontline journal should be all about.

Cheers,

Rachael

Go ahead

I see Argentina as a country like Kenya facing many problems of abortion.70% of the population is Christian and there is a strong opposition on abortion. It is in our constitution for women to be helped if in danger but no one dares say it is legal to abort.I work everyday at the policy table and implementers and I tell it is a mixture of religion, politics, personal values.I am eager to hear more and for sure we shall notes on this .Thank you for highlighting
