Unwanted Female Babies in India

I've attached the link to a yahoo video about unwanted female babies in India. It's just over 6 minutes. Please take a look at it - it's interesting and sad, and shows how girls are so unvalued in India.
I'm wondering if this is happening all over India or in certain groups. I'd love to hear the opinions of the World Pulse ladies from India about this video.
