Introducing myself and my journal: Learning Curve

About Me:
I was just your average Midwest girl until I moved to Cameroon, Africa for two years in the Peace Corps. I taught English for two years and had a great experience filled with challenges and rewards. I studied journalism and publication design in college and with my increased curiosity of new media, I am looking forward to making a career in it by using it to help others.

My Passions:
Helping others, making change, media and creative outlets

My Challenges:
Being patient with life and not being exactly where I would like to be

My Vision for the Future:
A place of increased awareness for several issues

My Areas of Expertise:
Writing, designing, teaching

Welcome Sarah!

Thank you for making a decision to join this platform. Personally I have learnt alot from many sisters and brothers all around the world through this platform, most of all I have found my voice and my vision is more clear; educating a girl child. Nothing sounds developmental and sustainable to me in the developing world than educating and training the women leaders.
May you too grow and find where you belong in and through this platform. Hoping to read more of your stories and ideas.

I believe everybody has the potential to live a better life. Given the Opportunity, Education and Motivation ANYONE can become someone admirable. Nobody is a NOBODY, everybody is SOMEBODY.
