When I speak out

My voice is loud, powerful, unique, demanding and unwavering.

I want to be a correspondent because the opportunity affords me a chance to build a network of individuals dedicated to bringing about change in their communities, to build and raise the profile of the issues affecting women in my community in particular politically motivated violence against women and to strengthen my voice both locally and globally as an ambassador of my womenfolk.

Honest, strong, solutions-based journalism will help my community to stand and speak out in a loud voice against politically motivated violence against women and other forms of human rights abuses, it will drive my community to demand a remedy for victims of human rights violations and prevent future recurrence of the problems.

My Dear,

Madube, where did you go to? I missed you so much especially a time like this when I have been reading that your President went to Hong Kong for a daughter,s graduation,on whose budget?

Your mission is fulfilling and I know you will make it,the fire and the inner motivation that you have speaks of a fiery lawyer in love with human dignity and righteousness.Daughter of Africa.
Welcome to my post after such a long time.
Great day!

Hey sis

I have been having communication problems lately.I still have not figured it out yet but I hope by the end of this month I would have dealt with the connectivity problems I have. There are so many other stories and things happening in my country. I am writing and writing and will soon be posting. I am happy to hear you are fine. I miss you so much too.

Lots of love...

Missed the opportunity

My dear Sister.

Your unwavering stand on politically motivated violence is clear and best of luck in using your voice loudly. We had a missed opportunity to meet during your trip.

Dear sis Amie

And I will apologise a thousand times and never manage to express how sorry I am that we did not manage to meet. But I hope the next time I am in the Gambia I shall see you.

Yes, the question of violence against women is one that I will not stop harping about. It is the most insane thing to do and I will do all I can while I still can to make sure it is addressed.

Hi Madube

You are rich sister. Being a honest solution based lawyer struggling for the unheard voices is such a resource!
May your demanding voice be heard and that the rights of all humans be respected because of your efforts.
Keep up the good work.

Beatrice

I believe everybody has the potential to live a better life. Given the Opportunity, Education and Motivation ANYONE can become someone admirable. Nobody is a NOBODY, everybody is SOMEBODY.

MaDube's picture

Thanks Beatrice

Thank you so much dear and I believe our efforts will yield results, one way or the other. It may take a long time, and maybe the change we want to see may not happen in our lifetime, but if we lay the bedrock of what we want to build, then those who will come after us will have something to build upon. I am inspired already by all you have done to give value to each human being and I love your motto, everybody really is somebody.

Thanks

Yes dear Ikirimat, we are in this together. As Stella always says, that is the beauty of networking and together we can achieve as a collective force what our individual efforts would have taken ages to achieve.

Did I hear you say 'stella'?

hehehehe, talk of the devil and the devil is here! But I am the good devil - I do evil by making the evil ones ashamed of their deed :)

I love your voice - in all its form. And here is something I say, your voice is also full of love and hope! Keep them, always!

A hug!
