Thanks for the welcome!

Hi Jade and Consolata,

Thanks for welcoming me to the group. Any chance I could get a recap on what's been taking place here over the past few months/year? Any direction as to how I can get more familiar with the members, discussion topics, etc. is much appreciated!

In gratitude,
Chanelle Carver

Welcome Chanelle!

I would love to welcome you to join the AWID Group!

AWID,The Association for Women's Rights in Development, works to strengthen the voice, impact and influence of women's rights advocates, organizations and movements internationally to effectively advance the rights of women.

The AWID Conference, which was attended by more than 2 200 women from all over the world, took place in Cape Town in November.World Pulse/PulseWire participated actively at the conference, physically represented by Jensine Larsen and i.Rising women leaders from over 60 countries registered on PulseWire, and the registration still continues.

This group was started here on PulseWire since it is an effective tool for women to share their voices on these courses, and to actively deliberate in all spheres on issues that affect women the world over.

Welcome on the AWID Group!

Best regards,

Leah Auma Okeyo.
( Africa Outreach Specialist-PulseWire).
