New Silk Road Travel to Encourage Entrepreneurship Development

WHY WOULD I WANT TO travel to all the capitals of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan over the next 30 days?

I am interested in learning about emerging trends regarding Central Asian states support to regional economic cooperation; Building transportation infrastructure (road and rail), and the businesses that create new job opportunities for the people; Helping citizens to understand how to overcome barriers and perceived problems in doing business;
Supporting trade and transit policies and border management that allows new business to be created, and understand the challenges faced by people already thinking about business opportunities. I would like to carry out research with relevant state and local actors to help gain new international support for Central Asian states economic cooperation

But first, I'm interested to receive comments from readers of this platform

Happy travelling

Hello. Gees, been reading your posts and am inspired. You are doing a great work. I am interested in what drives you? Why would you want to go to all these places. I recon it is passion. I have a similar passion and I sometimes find myself in the most uncomfortable situations because of the drive that passion gives me to see economic freedom to disadvantaged communities.Please share with us what you find. It would be interesting if there is anything that we can adopt in Africa to reduce the barriers of starting businesses. All the best on your travels.

Reducing Barriers

Sorry for not responding earlier. Hope you are still interested in a response. I have been reading Bill Clinton's book - BACK TO WORK, which contains many pearls of wisdom for encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship that apply, perhaps in differing degrees, but all across our globalized world of today.

Let me start by providing my Business Startup Strategy - VISION - "To transform our culture by creating a world where the benefits of globalization and entrepreneurship are celebrated and where people can achieve their dream of helping to end poverty and making the world a better place."

The driving force of my business comes from having worked and lived in 12 countries since 1991, working on the emergency relief to long term development continuum. My work with the US Peace Corps and the United Nations has exposed me to a broad range of global issues that the general American public has not generally involve itself with. I have more than 25 years of experience delivering solutions as a member of teams with global reach - blending local knowledge with innovation and technology to help enhance and sustain dispossessed populations.

What I have always found important is getting people to tell their stories to their elected officials and government officials, urging them to work with them to identify solutions that can help them succeed. In America, we have been blessed, almost from birth, with the ability to dream - then work to achieve that dream.

Beginning a phase of my career now...
