A small posting tip for all

Dear Sisters

I came into this forum with a lot of hunger within me. So it keeps me checking WP everyday and reading every post.

I noticed that some of your posts are very difficult to read, despite good and interesting content. Its because of absence of a proper structure (paras and spaces). Without proper spacing, the whole post appears a jumbled mass of characters.

Normally this happens when you write something on a word file and copy/paste it directly here.

So may I suggest this small tip which might help you?

After you have finished writing an article on word, open a notepad and copy/paste your article there. Here, you can space it out and when you copy/paste to your WP journal, your post will look well structured and pretty clean, making it a joy for a reader to go through.

Thanks for this message Sarvina. Notepad is often called a 'cleanser'.

For example,many times we see a nice article or a message on the internet and we want to copy it. But when we try that, we see many photos, links etc coming along. In such case, if you first copy and paste it on notepad, alll the photos, links etc will vanish. So when you copy paste again on word file, you will get a clean word-article.

Thanks Stella for the tip. I didn't realize that the posts come out like that. I haven't tried using notepad. Will try to look for it outside Windows.

Dear Paulina

I think you use an apple mac pro, that's why notepad is not so common for you. Most others, I think use windows. If you look at our VoF assignments, many articles looked like a gigantic, single para. I am sure the judges who read those, had a tough time. I hope this small tip helps. Love
