Online Outreach Volunteer
World Pulse is an action media network devoted to lifting and uniting women's voices to accelerate their impact for the world. With a focus on grassroots women change leaders, our growing web-based platform supports media and empowerment training, the exchange of resources, and the broadcast of member content.
World Pulse is planning the implementation of several new online outreach programs. In order to continue to impact the greatest number of grassroots women leaders we need to continue to scale online.
But what is World Pulse’s virtual transition from online to on-the-ground? What support do we provide our community to enable them to do on-the-ground outreach in their local region? What does it look like? How does it take shape? How does World Pulse virtually reach, support, and enable the women on the ground in their community? How does World Pulse overcome barriers such as language, internet access, and culture?
We are seeking a volunteer or possible intern to work on-site in the World Pulse offices to research and recommend a Virtual On-the-ground Strategy. The volunteer will work within our programs team help guide use of social media and technology for global outreach, engagement, and activism. He/she will research community outreach tools and best practices, and produce a strategy for grassroots outreach using online tools and on-the-ground partnerships.
