National Youth Empowerment Network is a youth organization creating the change we want to see in the world with Nanteza Lillian as the Finance Director a woman with a great need to change the lives of the youths in Bulondo and Kakunyu villages Wakiso district. Wagari Girls project started to empower the girl child gain skills in making crafts and Kakunyu brick making project to teach the boy child skills in making bricks, tiles and Pompey. The youth soccer galas and marathons and the NYEN Soccer Academy to promote unity, understanding and lasting friendship among the youth. Good Hope Nursery and Primary school the only school in Bulondo village with the nursery school to promote education. The youths in these villages are also empowered with agricultural skills in fish and piggery farming in addition to a sensitization programme on Health, financial, environment and consumer issues. Medical outreaches in Nseku village and Buvuma Island were carried out by the youth as a way to promote health for all.

I would love to visit your Organization. It sounds like you are doing great and could expand roots to my local community in Eastern Uganda where HIV has eaten up the population and the community is mostly orphans, the elderly and widows.

This is because most of us are volunteers and we have got other jobs we are doing. NYEN is another way we are giving back to the youth in this community .
