31st Correspondent and Pairings with Alumni

Tags:

Dear Correspondents, Mentors, Midwives and Correspondent Alumni~

I am please to announce that we will informally be pairing up each new correspondent with a correspondent from 2010 or 2009. This is a great way for alumni to stay in touch with the program, and for current correspondents to get a little extra help and advice from someone who has been through the program before.

This role is informal and we imagine it functioning like a friendship, with alumni being able to provide current correspondents with their expertise and advice as needed. We are not asking for any specific amount of communication between current/alumni correspondents, but we are giving you an opportunity to expand your networks with other powerful grassroots women leaders. We do ask that alumni correspondents respect the formal roles mentors and midwives play--and come to us if you think your friendship may be crossing into these roles.

We are also not asking for any set communication between alumni correspondents and current mentors/midwives, but you are welcome to connect!

Also, we want to announce that Duda from Serbia will be joining the program as our 31st Correspondent! We had a bit of a delay in our original communications, which led to her not being announced with the first group. Her Editorial Midwife will be Elizabeth Fautsch, a midwife from 2010 who has graciously offered to join our program at the last minute. We'll be announcing Duda's mentor soon!

Please let us know if you have any questions, or have had any difficulty in connecting with your correspondent/mentor/midwife. You'll find the list of alumni and current correspondent pairings in the document that was attached in an email we sent out today.

Kind regards,

Rachael

Hi Malaya!

We are so thrilled to have you be a part of this year's program! I know that this will add a new depth and richness to the program, both for these new Correspondents and the alumni too.

Hugs,
