Our Dairy Goat Project.

We as members of the Ranen support group constructed a goat pen and we also have a dairy project where we breed local chicken. We sell the chickens and also eggs to generate income for us.We also use the eggs in our diet because protein is an essential need.We are planning to expand the project so that it can be more supportive to the community.

We are also in the process of trying to get a donor so that we can dairy goats to start with.We are trying to propose to the Heifer Project to see if we can get a dairy goats donations. We are looking at a plan to use them with the community as a means of eradicating poverty and to use their milk as an immunity booster.

I hope i will be able to learn more from Pulse wire and also to network with other women who are HIV positive.

Hi Rose, Welcome to

Hi Rose,

Welcome to Pulsewire! It's wonderful to hear about your organization and the sustainable work that you do to earn funds to support your cause in eradicating poverty and to provide nourishment for HIV positive women. I look forward to hearing more about your project, the Ranen Support Group and the work that you do! If you are looking for donors, you can post a need in ResourceExchange to better channel your efforts.

Warm Regards,

Congratulations on your success to date and your plans to expand your project. How is it going with the Heifer Project? I think a lot of women on our site would benefit from knowing how you acquired your initial goats and chickens and your experience working with Heifer. I hope you will have time to share, although you sound quite busy!
