Silence

Since ever I heard of silent word it had meant to be the sign of “satisfaction” or the answer of “idiots”. In my community whenever there is an important issue or any kind of discussion and you are expected to get respond and reaction of the other person who is meant to answer you by “yes” or “no” for what had been discussed and that person remains Silent without Respond so you mark his answer as “yes” without doubt which means that the person is satisfied with what you say, in contrast when there is another hot discussion about something controversial or argument between two persons and you don’t agree with what he says about you remain Silent and this answer is definitely “no” to what he is saying and judging you about in this case your silence means that the other person is “idiot” and no need to answer. More, Silence is regarded as “wisdom” for instance women who are always silent and not arguing are regarded as “wise” women and they are expected to be clever and have extra knowledge than others. I wander how other nations analyze this word!
