Feminist blogs and sites

The feminist blogesphere is by far, one of the most diverse and vibrant. With the ever growing awareness of women's issues across the world, it's not surprise that it is. I wanted to share a few feminist sites that I enjoy reading.

Muslimah Media Watch

Founded in 2007 by Fatemeh Fakhraie, MMW is place where Muslim women can come together and critique their images in the media from a Muslim feminist perspective.

Life and Times of an Indian Homemaker

While mainly a personal blog, it has become a forum where women come together and discuss issues (such as feminism, gender roles, tradition, arranged marriage, etc.) facing Indian women today.

Gender Across Borders

A global feminist blog that raises awareness about gender issues across the globe.

Womanist Musings

Based in Canada, a blog that deals with both racism and sexism. Most importantly, it serves as place to offer criticism of white mainstream feminism and how it failed to acknowledge the needs and issues unique to low income and women of color.

I hope you enjoy these blogs and if you would like to recommend some, please share!!
