Introducing myself and my journal: "Let's Talk!"

About Me:
Hi There!

Thrilled to be here with all of you. A number of years ago, with a degree in classical piano, having worked at the Kennedy Center, a professional ceramic artist, and years of business under my "belt" I somehow followed an open door leading me to meet hundreds of my global sisters - from India, Kenya, Gaza, Belize, and many more countries. I can hardly fathom, now, what my life would be had I not stepped out of my cultural comfort zone and talked with women working on the frontlines. We have to - we must - stop and take the time now, in these incredible times, to connect as you are right here in World Pulse. So with many years now of work, we have created our live dialogue space called Global Room for Women ( and are leading our members to come here to read all about your work. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU! Linda Higdon, Founder of Global Room for Women

My Passions:
Global Conversations "Woman to Woman"; Classical Music, Kenya, the Middle East, and Theatre

My Challenges:
Letting as many North American women know the power and beauty of meeting their global sisters

My Vision for the Future:
Each person on this planet would be 100% responsible for their own emotional life and growth

My Areas of Expertise:
Partnership Development, Women's Global Connections, Dialogue, Facilitation, Classical Music, Sculpture, Entrepreneurship, Global Consciousness

Unleashing the potential through individual minds

Hi Noeline,

Wow! Thanks for the open arms and the tour of World Pulse. I have known of the network and met Jensine Larson and had so many women I know use this forum. I thought it was high time. So here's the big secret. I love, love Africa. My husband and I are on the Board of Trustees of a Kenyan AIDS relief organization and travel there nearly every year. I am also very aware of all the great work related to AIDS that has come out of Uganda. I have yet to visit there - but hope to on one of these next trips. Let me know more about your work there!
