Introducing myself and my journal: Lin's Journey

About Me:
I am proud to be a girl. Girl is named as a Zero coin in my hometown, we are rarely valued as we were born in poor families, we are difficult to be educated, we are most likely thought as a uselessness. Fortunately, I haven't let them think like that anymore. I must be strong to bring peace and education to my hometown that's why I am here on Pulsewire. Being a female, I am strongly encouraged to speak out for my own girls. I am also a part-time teacher at PCU University.

My Passions:

My Vision for the Future:

It is so nice to see your profile.

Hello Dalin,
I think that your profile is very interesting. You do a wonderful job of identifying the problems of girls in your community. As a coin with no value. The girls are so lucky to have you as a voice for them. I see that you are a part time Profesor. Is that at Pannasastra University?

I am a professor at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. I have traveled to Cambodia many times and have brought my students with me. I love Cambodia, but I do recognize that girls often drop out of school when they are very young and go to work. I believe that education is the key to getting ahead in life, and it is unfortunate for all those girls not to get their education.

What I love the most about Cambodia is the spirit of the people. Despite their problems, everyone has a smile.

I hope that you will write to me and tell me more about you, and about the work that you are doing. I will look forward to that very much.

Best regards,
