Interracting for Commuity Development
Creating change in my community is not a easy task, because the kind of change you mention to the hearing of people don't make any meaning to them. The basic Problem of a country like Nigeria is poverty, corruption, falling education standard, poor standard of living.
Changes could be created at the individual level about this problems but many people are concerned about what they can have now and don't always see the need for the future because their immediate needs are not being met.
One way I employed in person to change this situation is to encourage people to do what is right, because the whole problems faced by Nigeria and Nigerians is as a result of poor leadership which comprises people that mismanage the vast resources of the country.
The fact of the issue is that every citizen is part of this problem because most Nigerians also have the aim of stealing whenever they get their and the only few that are ready to make change are not been supported or a-times are seen as selfish preventing them from taking their portion of the National Cake as they call it.
But thank God, though there is still significant number of illiterates in Nigeria, the few that are educated are beginning to understand the trend though the online social communities like Twitter, Facebook and order resource groups like Pulsewire, Farm Radio etc. and I believe as time goes on we will understand this concept better and all plan for change.
The social online communities Nigerian youths are now seeing a lot of reason while we should change and solve of societal problems individually by writing what should be done, what's on our minds on our pages for everyone to read with the hope that tomorrow will be a "Brighter Day"

May you continue to hold your vision and your voice - you have much to share, not only with your community, but many other silenced communities around the world.
Keep at the journey.

Corruption and greed . . . ah, such ugly enemies, especially when paired with poverty and illiteracy. You have a tough road ahead of you. I sincerely hope you can convince people to do what is right. In the United States, even when people have plenty, greediness makes it hard for them to see their way to what is right. I whip up storms with my words, but cannot seem to whip up wisdom in my listeners. I hope with all my heart that you are much more successful than I am. Warm regards.
