Wangai Maathai passes away

I found this piece on the death of Wangari Maathai and wanted to post it right away to share it with women around the world.

If you are not familiar with her work, the article below, from Eco News Bits, outlines her major accomplishments, including having founded the Green Belt Movement and having been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

She will be dearly missed.
