The stones that form the barriers can be removed by the women of PulseWord.

I tried removing some of the challenges of my list and prioritize the barriers. Barriers bother me more than the challenges. They form walls and spend our energy.

The economic barriers, the barriers created by prejudice, that form by ignoring the rights and uses that power to cripple the action within communities.

The major barrier impeding the development of the information is masked for protection.
Those who fear a ghetto within the police authority or marginal?

Girls are involved in trafficking them falls for the false power and begin to be attacked, using the body to be able to transport drugs or drugs.

Children born with neurological and physical problems, following the mother in the morning in search of the man or the drug. Children loose on the streets during the day without food or study and mother, his sole responsibility, sleeping.

We need greater public investment in the network and union services to accommodate these women, treatment, counseling and legal so they can have self esteem and engage in their lives.

The City of God has several communities, 120 000 inhabitants, only one health clinic and an Emergency Unit, the social and psychological care are small for the demand of the place.

You have to support that relieves stress women's projects that allow this woman looking in a mirror and be proud to live, professional development and training school for it to learn to deal with life's challenges. Today it has challenges beyond the barrier of lack of resources.

I envision an action that may give more strength to the community, a project for children 6 to 12 years and youth 13 to 17 years after school. School building projects, with diverse content for these children and young people are less vulnerable to social risk.

In these projects the mother would be invited to participate once a week in order to pass on to other women their knowledge would be an exchange of information to the accompaniment of volunteers.

Thus we are closer, may emerge a project thought up by them.

One day I received an email saying that the undersigned a Nigerian woman, Safiya, was sentenced to death by stoning by Islamic law because it was considered adulteress, I was outraged. I signed the document.

I called everyone to do the same, I wrote the names of two hundred children and 75 seniors, all have been informed what was happening and participated in this moment.

Days later a student of four years watching television, saw the article about stoning and said to his mother.

We won! We did it!

Me and my friends from kindergarten to help save this girl.

He's just a boy who learned to respect the pain of a woman.

I'm sure PulseWord help to increase my knowledge and I will find tools to be a leader within the City of God.
