My Journay Story towards worldpulse
To take a birth and grow in a society which is totally patriarchal is a very challenging phenomena for a woman to live her life as a free and independent individual and relish her basic rights, with the greatness of Almighty Allah and with my mother support and protection I not only relish my basic rights but also got freedom in living and decision making, but there are millions Afghan girls and women who are not as fortunate as I’m. I got this opportunity may be because there’s not proper influence and role of any man in my life to become a barrier in my life. Anyhow human can’t be isolated from his society and its influence over his life. Similarly our male dominated society where millions of women daily became victim of violence, discrimination and prohibition of getting medical treatment in certain way affect my mind and its calmness and made me to think not only about my own survival in such community but also to visualize a society where women serves as a main decision maker in every walk of life.
For empowering and transforming a war victimized society into peaceful and progressive society, educating and empowering its women are vital which can’t be done alone without any cooperation and collaboration of individuals at a broader level, especially without the pressure of international community, this is the leading cause which persuade me to join world pulse online community in order to catch the world focus towards the poor Afghan women whose development and freedom exist to certain cities.
Like democracy, freedom of speech is also infant in the Afghanistan which can’t be utilize efficiently by major of media in highlighting and addressing the women issues because of which no progress have seen in solving women’s problem and in having a major governmental plan and policy for their development that is the another major reason which driven me to apply for “Voices of Our Future” so that I be the global voice of my country women speak for their problems, present them to the world and seek its solution with support of diversified people of the globe.
