i have arrived
As fast as I could
As far away as I could get
I stand breathing heavily
And run again
Tears stream down my face
All the pictures vivid
The intimidations
The frustration
The competition
Favouritism, secretive process
I want to get away
As far away as I can
I thought I had a purpose
I had found a life-a part of my dream
I run away
The wind through my hair
Sweat and tears on my brow
The trauma, the bleakness
Darkness
Then I see a light
The moon high up in the sky
I stop look up and feel it
I am empowered
I feel elated
I am here
I have arrived
I stop running

Yes you have
That's a nice, emotional poem. Hope to read many more.
And yes, you have arrived.

Thank you
Hey thanks very much, i was just going through some of my poems and it really looks like the story of my life. There was a period i wrote when i ws going through things and all of it is there. I need to organise the pieces and make a story of it. Thanks hey.

Gertrude (Get rude? Lol) You have so much in you.. Phew, where do you find this much energy? Well done dear.. Nice one!
I do not aim for Perfection; Just excellence!

I find that if i dont geeting myself busy, i may end up wallowing in self pity so i really want to try and make the most of my time. its one of those things, but hey thanks very much!

Lovely poem
It's good to see you flowing like this again.
I have arrived.
I stop running from the past that can never catch pace with me
For I am a voice
of the future.
Just my little addition :)
from today i live out of my imagination
i am more than my yesterday
tomorrow i plant a new seed
nothing that lies behind easy
nothing that is ahead real
my within is all i have today

Trust you to make me laugh. Thanks hey, wouldnt have done this without you. No pun intended but if there was never a reason for you to come back home when you did, we would never have bumped into each other and none of this would have happened. Thanks very much! i owe you.
