Making friends/ Getting noticed

Hi out there PW members! I have enjoyed writing and reading journal entries, requesting contacts, and becoming more involved with this organization whom I've been following since it's inception.
How do I get my journal noticed? What is the best way to make connections? Many of the groups have been inactive for a year or two or three.
