Introducing myself and my journal: Living Truly
About Me:
I am lawyer, gender activist and human rights advocate. I studied Law in Nigeria and the UK. I was going to be a top Corporate/Commercial Lawyer after my studies, and then I got the opportunity to go to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands as an intern for 6 months. My experience at the ICC changed my views about life, justice and my career focus. I am convinced that the problems we face in the world and particularly in Africa is as a result of the failure of our justice systems and poor implementation of human rights. I am a committed wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I enjoy interacting with people and sharing experiences and knowledge.

I do have to agree on your view that lack of effective justice systems are key to the issues we face today in our world, Africa and in Maldives too.
All the best and have a lovely day.
In friendship :-)
