Agitating prayer

6 months passed now since the Syrian uprise started, and with it, government crackdown on innocent and peaceful civilians. I woke up this morning agitated because I lost my ability of a deep sleep, and the pictures of many children, women and men imprisoned and tortured in the most barbaric ways always circulate in my mind. The image of many children shot dead by snipers and killed while being tortured, and some of them are even 8 and 10 years old, in the regime's prisons. This make my mind foggy and my heart disturbed.

I woke up this morning wanting to pray, but I do not know for whom. I am very worried on my family, and I feel guilty for not being with the people in the streets, I wanted so much but many tell me that I have a better chance in helping them from where I am and telling their stories since all communication and internet is cut by Syrian regime.

My prayer is the following: O' good forces in the world, dear merciful winds, dear mighty universe, dear supreme being, people are dying in the most savage and barbaric ways in Syria, no one is spared or is untouchable even babies in cradles, I big you to do something because yesterday I was hearing the news about 30 Syrians lost their lives, and the news channel was saying it in a disrespectful way as if 30 flies died. Everyday from 10 to 50 Syrian humans are brutally killed by security forces. This silence is a shameful stamp on the forehead of humanity, and the forehead of deity, or forces of nature and universe. Shake this apathy and reach...reach.

support

Hey Nissan,

I just wanted to tell you that I know how you feel. Here in Mexico we have also a huge armed conflict because of the drug cartels. Some newspapers even say we have more deaths than Afghanistan. It's a really sad situation we're living when young men and women and children get killed every day for nothing!! But even though I know you would like to be with the people on the streets I agree with the people that is telling you that your place is to tell their stories! We need this, we need to hear the voices and points of view of the people living this, maybe you could do interviews, or ask them to make videos and then you can upload them or something like that!

Thank you dear...

Thank you for your support, I am really disturbed especially when the world is doing nothing. It is hard when you see your beloved country ruined by some mob whether a drug cartel or a criminal gang seized power. You are right, many people are killed for nothing, this hurts.

I am thinking of a documentary about the revolution, meeting victims for support and tell their stories to the world. But the thing is that the government is killing anyone shows a face! especially when no cameras allowed or at many times all communications are down. I am living in another country and it is hard enough for the people inside Syria to show the world some footages they took by their mobile cameras. there are massacres going on and I hope the world would not let another Rwanda or Kosovo happens in Syria.

A drop of rain can revive the earth, be the drop.
