Introducing myself and my journal: Gender and education
About Me:
I am currently working at the Kenya Institute of Education Media department as a deputy director in charge of media.The media department runs a radio and TV educational channel targeting all learners country wide. I started as a secondary school teacher after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in education.Then joined the education media as a producer.I have a master's degree in communication studies and currently pursuing a PhD degree in communications studies.
Kenya Institute of Education is the national curricullum development centre in Kenay manadated to produce all curricullum and curricullum support materails for all levels of education except the universities
My Passions:
Producing programme for women and education
My Challenges:
journalistic skills &expertise to raise voices on women and education
My Vision for the Future:
To see women who are Technology savy and education system which is gender responsive
