Dear Olubosola, Thank you for

Dear Olubosola,

Thank you for alerting us and the community of this user, and I'm so sorry that you had this experience on our website. We have blocked fatobaby’s account and unpublished their profile. Here at World Pulse, we work very hard to keep PulseWire a safe and secure online community. It’s culture of support and trust is one of its most valuable features. Every day, we check activity on the website to make sure it is appropriate.

However, as with all online communities, spam is a constant concern and is sometimes difficult to detect immediately. As spam is a wide-spread Internet phenomenon, here are some guidelines for detecting spam users on PulseWire and avoiding online scams.

*Guard your personal and account information carefully. Never disclose your social security number or bank account information and be wary of who you share your phone number and personal email address with. If you have made a genuine connection with a member and wish to share personal contact details, do so in a private message and not in a public comment.

*If you are contacted by another member on PulseWire, be sure to read their profile first and any journals they have published. If the user has a vague or strange profile, it's best to ignore them and alert the PulseWire team so that we can investigate the member's legitimacy and intentions.

*If you are ever suspicious of a user, you can "flag" their introductory journal, which will alert our team to their account and activity. Here is the FAQ for how to use the flag feature:

*To learn more about World Pulse's Privacy Policy, go to: We are also working on an Online and Offline security toolkit that we will share with you soon.

We are committed to making PulseWire a safe, respectful environment for our members, where women can lift their voices and be encouraged and empowered by their fellow community members and the world at large. Thank you for helping us maintain it!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. I hope you continue to stay engaged here on PulseWire!
