Introducing myself and my journal: gender discrimination against women
About Me:
i am doing my masters in "GENDER STUDIES".
when i entered my first class, i was not very much excited. but as the time passed by i started enjoying my class my classmate, moreover their experiences and was little shocked to hear the discrimination against women in every sphere of their life. when a daughter is born she becomes a matter of burden to her family, when she gets married she becomes a toy of sexual enjoyment to her husband and socially recognized labor to her in-laws, when she grows older she becomes burden to her children.
from the time of her birth to her death she becomes a matter of burden despite of her hard effort to please everyone not saying a word in against any of them! how cruel her family, community, society, nation and the entire world could be to her. there are rules, there are laws, there are organization who work for their rights even then there is a lot more to be done yet.
i am a women, i have seen it, experienced it, and i am ready to raise my voice on gender discrimination against women.
