I have recently returned from a year working in Kabul, Afghanistan. After more than a decade in higher education, I am exploring career options that let me work more actively for a just world through empowering the daily lives of individuals and the communities that they share.
My Passions:
sustainable food systems, local economies, indivdiual empowerment, nature, photography, learning and teaching
My Challenges:
A student loan debt that controls my life, a body that doesn't always allow me to do the things I would wish
My Areas of Expertise:
sociology, community development, statistical analysis, social research
