Introducing myself and my journal: Crying for the World

About Me:
My name is Denise and I am a professor of international relations at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in the state of Illinois, USA. I am also the coordinator of the Peace Studies program at my university. I received my PhD from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Although I am trained in military security, I am interested in resouce scarcity wars, human rights, the politics of occupation, and the status of women in the global community.
