About Me:
I am currently pursuing a master's degree in communication studies from California State University-Chico and am focusing my research on the representation of women in online news. I'm also the co-founder of a media monitoring project called The Gender Report, which looks at similar issues. I am a journalist by trade and training. I most recently served as the managing editor of two weekly newspapers in Montana.
