Womens Heartbeat

Women, particularly in male dominated societies, are at risk of sexually transmitted diseases. Not least of which is HIV / AIDS. Being HIV positive is not a death sentence. It is a call to treatment and improving your lifestyle.
If pregnant women are treated on antiretrovirals there babies are protected in pregnancy and have reduced transmission risk during birth. Babies of HIV positive women can be put on ARVs from birth.
My call is to the women of the world - know your HIV status.
If you are HIV positive, please be tested for Tuberculosis too.
