Welcome! Glad to know you.
Hi Helen,
Ni hao? I applaud your work and aspiration in poverty alleviation.
I'm very aware of that when I was traveling in China last year. I'm a filmmaker working on a documentary on the rise of women in China. One of the most challenging thing is to get funding for its production and I wonder if you know of any Chinese philanthropists or NGO which is interested in supporting this kind of projects (not government). If you'd like to know more about my documentary please contact me offline at mtchao@comcast.net.
Hope you'll find this WorldPulse commuinty invigorating and inspiring.
Thanks,
May

Hi May, I have read your self introduction and your recent work about the film. it's fabulous. I thought your film more concentrated on policy advocacy, Did I right? As far as I know Chinese NGOs ,especially grassroots, have some difficulties in direct work with this area. So the better solution for your problems, I believe, is to contact international NGOs which pay great attention to the wowen situation in China, such as UN Women, Asia Foundation, Oxfam and so on. You can find their contacts online.
Hope this will be helpful.
Wishes.
