Path to Womanhood254 was started as a voice and to make the small difference that we can afford to for Kenyan girls growing up in poverty stricken families. I can speak for those who are not able to speak up.
There are many challenges that come with being a girl in the slums, and some of them I cannot even begin to know, imagine or understand, I was fortunate.
The lack of a basic sanitary pad is one that will have girls missing school, dropping out or using materials that you would never have imagined possible.
The girl child is a leader in this world, presidents of nations, hold high political positions, make billion dollar decisions, are reigning as royalty and own billion dollar investments.
I guess all I am trying to do in this quest is to let peope realise that no matter what, you have something to be thankful for, that you are blessed and that your future does not need to lean on your past for anything.
