Introducing myself and my journal: Voices of Women Worldwide (VOWW-TV)

About Me:
With our first digital/HD one hour TV program - winner of three 1st prize awards at American Film Festivals - "MISTAKEN IDENTITY: A 9/11 Story" captured what happened to Sikh Americans after the terrorist Attacks on America on 11 September 2001, seen through the eyes of 21-year old American student. We specialize in producing and directing TV programs exclusively for North America and EU, under the banner of "Global Cultural Diversity Films (GCDF)" which was set up by a small team of 16/35mm filmmakers. We are interested in focusing on topics of "leadership role models for women, world religions, spirituality and innovative and inspirational personalities ... exclusively for the global family and younger generation.

With hundreds of hours of digital/HD videos, I have been producing and directing films and most recently created a unique TV series titled: "Voices of Women Worldwide" (VOWW-TV) which will be first, transmitted across over 100 WebTV networks within the next 6 months. Especially after interviewing tens of hundreds who arrived to attend the 55th Commission on the Status of Women (22 Feb-7Mar) and then became part of the launch of UN WOMEN on 24 February 2011, at the United Nations headquartered in New York. It was officially declared by the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon who appointed the former President of Chile Michelle Bachelet, Executive Director. The events concluded in the midst of the preparations to mark the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day - one day - exclusively commemorated annually worldwide - celebrating all those ordinary women who have played and are playing an extraordinary roles in the history of their communities around the world. It also became the "one day" to reflect on progress made for women's rights and to call for more radical changes and empowerment for the girl-child, young women and all women through progressive education and daily communication.

Unfortunately, my team and I saw how only Hollywood stars and celebrated personalities, musicians and artists who had lent their names, were completely swamped and covered by the mainstream media. Therefore VOWW-TV grew out of filming and singularly recognizing all those "voiceless" faces attending smaller committee rooms in the UN Church Centers and the Salvation Army building, all those who shared what was happening in their countries and their spectacular accomplishments in their rural and urban communities in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, South and South East Asia.

VOWW-TV invites all womens organizations to partner, host, share and become involved in distributing information and evolve in our regular syndications over YouTube, Goggle TV, iTunes, Facebook, Verizon FiOS, TiVO, Sony TVs, Vizio, the iPad and videoblogging and partner-website networks. For example, one partners attracts over 140 million viewers a month. Let us become the Global Spiderwoman VOWW-TV network weaving the Web by sharing in the latest digital media technologies offered on the Internet Gateway. Let's truly learn to share and "monitize" our work - which stands excluded from the exclusve Boys' Club that generate the funds through their hundreds and thousands of partnerships,i.e. Microsoft, Apple, Dell, etc. There is much to be done ... and as usual very little money for the womenfolk. So let's find different ways - we welcome your suggestions and look forward to working in unity for the empowerment of women worldwide.

My Passions:
Producing good videos to enhance and educate women empowerment around the world

My Challenges:
Frustrated by so little being done in rural areas around the world

My Vision for the Future:
Uniting women to understand and how they can rise and take the lives of their family and children into their own hands ...

My Areas of Expertise:
Offering appropriate knowledge of empowerment in extraordinary ways

Thanks for your welcome

Read your profile Busayo ... and learned you are doing some good work in NIgeria ... My last boss had built a factory to make herbal medicine to control the sickle cell disease in the Nigerian capital in 2006 but then his Board of Directors in America, took over his business because they said he was too old. He is only 68 and a very great man in my eyes ... We are trying to get his business back ... because he is a chemist and has cures for malaria and cancer, etc. Even though he no longer can pay me ... I still do all his public relations and media work ... and help him here in New Jersey (USA) where he has his office.

Do tell me more about yourself and your work ?
