BREAKING NEWS: NIGERIA 2011 GENERAL ELECTION

Nigerians came out in Millions today 16th of April 2011 as they vote to decide who will be their president in the next four years. 18 people from 18 different parties contested for the post the presidency seat. It was a serious competition as each of this contestants worked rigorously during the campaign so that they will be the one to occupy the seat of power in Noigeria in the next four years. The women, men both old and young were not left out. Infact the disabled, Physically challenged people find a means of getting to their poling unit to vote. All borders leading to Nigeria was closed and there was total restriction of movement during the election for successful and effective election.

Thanks Jackie for your comment, It is good to hear from you and i hope you are doing fine. The Political parties are so many, i think they about 58 but only 18 had candidate for the presidential election. Most of the parties have supporters accross the country. The most prominent of all the parties are ANPP, CPC, ACN and PDP which is the current ruling party. In terms of free and fair election, we have never had it so good in Nigeria. Thanks to President Goodluck and the INEC chairman, Prof Attairu Jega.

We really thank God for the change. The way INEC conducted the election, anybody that is peace loving will want to embrace the change. I was also a volunteer during the Registration Exercise. It was a thorogh election.
