Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I'm a 40 year old woman who works as a bereavement coordinator at a hospice agency in the Seattle area. I've recently completed graduate school with a master's in mental health counseling, and dream of integrating yoga and therapy to work with women who have experienced trauma. I am a breast cancer survivor, and believe in the power of voice, movement, and a strong community.

My Passions:
yoga, journaling, dance, and nature

My Challenges:
closed spaces, cubicles, negativity, and judgments

My Vision for the Future:
community building through open dialogue

My Areas of Expertise:
counseling, yoga, and administrative skills
