Oh my gosh

Hello Beatrice,

Although this is not a long article the photo speak a thousand words. I have never seen anything like this. Thank you for sharing it with us. I guess this is the result of little or no healthcare and lack of medication. This is truly a very sad story of such a young woman.

Have a blessed day,
Mia

Iliteracy

Dear Mia,
This is indeed a sad life for this young woman, it is a terrible pain that one would wish to rather die than suffer.
Many typical grassroots people are ignorant of medical care although there are places without medical centers. Some villages have hospitals but no drugs, no operation services, just buildings. So in such a case, many people tend to ignore sicknesses, some resort to witchdoctors, these sicknesses in the long-run turn into complex illnesses such as this one.
There is a great need for sensitization, health promotions and revising the medical budget so as to cater for the grassroots communities.

Thanks Mia for taking time to read this article and responding to it.

Love,

Beatrice

Did anyone help her?

Beatrice,
I was so honored to meet you when you came to visit Intel in California. I was in the room and was truly blessed to meet you and your world pulse colleagues. I was reading some of your journal entries and saw this. Did anyone help this poor girl?

Regards
Julie

Update

Julie, I am following up with Kezia's issue now. I was told this morning that she is in her village right now that treatment failed because there is no money. If you can help pay her medical bills please hold on, when I get in touch with her and get information from her I will contact you.

Thank you,

Beatrice
