CAPS FOR NEW BORN BABIES IN AFRICA
Hi everybody,
Sally and I were discussing crocheting caps for new borns and sending the caps to Africa clinics. I have the name and address of one clinic and I'm sure other PulseWire members are involved in a clinic where we can send caps.
I'm attaching the crocheting instructions and a photo of a cap I just finished. It takes a couple of hours for an old guy to make one, but it is a very peace-filled activity, especially when I pray for the child who will wear my cap.
We can figure out how to collect them later, but for now, knit or crochet those caps. :-)
peace and love,
William

Wonderful Idea
William,
Wonderful idea and beautiful cap. A newborn will look snazzy in that and I'm sure the parents will be thankful. Will Sally join PuylseWire so we can all meet her too!
I am learning how to crochet so maybe one day I can contribute too.
In friendship,
Jenna Kellam
crocheting caps
Hi Jenna,
Sally is SallyReb, a member of PulseWire. Don't wait, print out the instructions and start. It's a very peaceful activity. As I mentioned, maybe we can find a central place to mail them or drop them off, then they can boxed and mailed. Tabby of Kenya or another African woman's activist will find a place to mail them.
If I can do it, I'm sure you can Jenna :-)
peace and joy,
William
