Angles of the Fourth Assignment

Dear Sisters

I am confused between the following :

- Female Nurses in private hospital which receives injuries from protests in Aden City, Yemen.

- Unmarried Women in Yemen and the stigma behind that.

- Female Journalists and activists and risk around them within these days in Yemen.

- Women Activists between Feminism and activism in Yemen.

- Women role in the current crises in Yemen.

- Women working in degrading occupations in Yemen.

Thanks dears !

All are quite good

Perhaps you can research and see which one has an inspiring story as part of it... Like if the women nurses have done exemplary work or the unmarried women are standing their ground, etc. I find that a positive story communicates how women can overcome the obstacles and can be effective in inspiring others. On the other hand, you should write about the story that you feel closest to... Hope that helps somewhat :)

Yeah as sis Sapna said all

Yeah as sis Sapna said all are good but you should choose one that you feel most interesting to write about. I think all the points you mentioned above related to women's duties and obstacles and one point that make me want to know and read is women working in degrading occupations in Yemen, anyways I am happy to read all your chosen topic.

Waiting to read your draft!

Hello over there,

To suggests on the topic my dear, i would say focus on the topic which has bigger issues to tackle, write about that one. I really dont know much about Yemen but i would suggest you write about that which the world need to know about. After you have identified the topic then you can talk to your midwife and mentor for its breakdown.

I hope this adds something.

All the best

Hi Sahar

All your topic are great! The only thing you have to do is to identify the one that can help you address this issues:

* Find other sources who can talk about an issue, such as nurses, doctors, people who work in clinics.
* Look for supporting statistics—how common is this problem?
* Find out the history of the problem, if relevant. What are current laws and political viewpoints?

Also remember that The World Pulse Voice is solution oriented.
I know you will write a great piece!

Trust your HOPES, not your fears... Harmony

Hi Sahar!

I am so happy to see this here... you seem to have the very most to say about the challenges that female journalists are facing in Yemen. It is a very timely and news-worthy topic and you have valuable insight that the rest of the world cannot see.

Take care!!

Hi Sahar!

Wow, sister! I'm amazed at how you found a lot of issues on Yemeni women! If I were you, I would plunge headlong into a piece on Yemeni women in general, and discuss all six issues in broad strokes - then focus on one issue you like most and tackle its specifics. Go girl ... I think you have it all! All the best...

Emie Zozobrado

Dear sister Sahar,

All of the issues you brought are very interesting and important to be known by the outside world.
After reading the learning materials, I realized that the module 4 is pretty challenging and we need time to research. So I would like to recommend writing on what is your expertise, you have enough contact and exposure and which you can get information and statistics without tiring. By this way, you can create a great feature story without hardship. I believe you can do the best for whatever.

Best regards,
Insha Allah
