Nyilale Vaah Junior, One Year On

The fresh stillbirth of our dearly beloved son a year ago, March 9 2010, opened our eyes to the painful result of substandard care and neglect from health facilities that many Ghanaian women and families had been living with all this while. We remember our son Nyilale Vaah Junior as well as we do the Hamdiatu Ayamgas, Dzifa Agborfortsis, the Michelle Agyekum-Agyins and the many departed women and neonates too numerous to mention.

Within this same one year, we are glad to welcome our son, Nyilale Vaah Junior II, thanks to a dedicated team of medical professionals and the wonderful, expert care of a young and dedicated midwife.

We appreciate the selfless service of all those health professionals out there doing your best for the child bearing woman in spite of the many difficulties you face. You do make a difference and we are thankful for your lives.
