thanks

thank you all for giving me the opportunity of being a member of the community. I've loved to witness such. I am currently working on my thesis about women in politics and am taking special interest in the forthcoming elections in Nigeria. I really need ti know how the women will fare (i.e. better or worse than the previous ones). its quite a shame that the PDP primaries did not favour the only female candidate despite the clamour for 35% affirmative action campaign. I hope the elections proper as well as subsequent appointments to top positions in the country will compensate for the loss.
thanks once again i promise to always air my views, pass comments on issues as discussed as well as ask questions where necessary. its very important that we empower women in Nigeria.
