Dear World Pulse Community,

I would like to ask for your assistance and expertise. I am a journalist traveling to Kathmandu, Nepal this June to write two stories:

The first is on the nuns of Kopan who have equal access to a classical Buddhist education alongside their brother monks.
The second is on women's progress in Nepal as measured by factors like freedom from domestic violence and equal access to health care, education, and professional opportunities.

If you are a Nepali woman who would like to share her insights, please feel free to contact me.

With Gratitude,

Tuula Fai :-)

Thank you, Sarvina!

Dear Sarvina,

Thank you for your thoughtful and informative email. Thanks also for your two latest posts, "Thailand renews agression against Cambodia" and "Clash on Cambodian-Thai Borders this morning and continue till now." There is only one television station here in the U.S. covering the story regularly so your posts are most appreciated.

Per your advice, I am reaching out to the wonderfully intelligent and insightful Nepali correspondents you mentioned.

I share your vision for creating a world in which "women everywhere feel safe speaking their minds and standing up for their safety and happiness," and look forward to staying in touch and reading your posts.

Tuula :-)
