story of violence and binding marriage

A girl at 6th class in school was very interested in her lessons and had a very happy childhood with her friends and classmates going to school and coming from school. She was busy in studying, had fun and playing, singing songs with her friends.
Her parents married her with a 45 years old man; without aware her. She was not ready psychologically for marriage. She started to live with an old man with out awareness of marriage life. In the first night she faced physical tortures and she need to stay in hospital for few days, beside this she faced different violence her mother in-law did not let her to talk, eat and stay with her husband with out her permission. She must do all chores around the house and be a good host of all guests. If she did any mistake they all together (her husband, mother in-law and sister in-law) beating her. She can not go to visit her parents and either they come to visit her.
One day her mother in-law pour the fuel on her to burn her, while she started to burn her the neighbors heard her noise and came and brought her to hospital she saved.
These kinds of violence are in our society. As I am a trainer in Afghan Institute of Learning (AIL), AIL aware civilians in different areas by conducting elimination of violence, leadership, human rights and women rights workshops. Her mother in-law and sister in-law participated in one of AIL’s training, and they were very regretful regarding their behavior with their daughter in-law and they want to change their behavior. After some time when we evaluate the workshop we found out that their behavior changed socially, economically, culturally, educationally and deportment with their daughter in-law.
Hope to eliminate all violence around the world.
